001 > Referral Received

Submit via Healthmail or standard referral. Your referral is acknowledged promptly and triaged within 48 hours to determine urgency and any imaging requirements before the patient is seen.

002 > Appointment Confirmed

The patient will receive confirmation of the appointment booking and if any further imaging needed we will arrange this to optimise their appointment. Your patient arrives prepared and both you and the patient will receive correspondence following the consultation with a clear plan of management.

003 > Clinic Letters & Discharge Summaries

From first consultation through to discharge, you stay in the loop. Discharge summaries and clinic letters are sent to you within 24 hours, detailing findings, treatment, and follow-up plans.

004 > Continuity of Care

Your patient returns to your care with a clear plan. Medication, physiotherapy protocols, and follow-up arrangements are clearly documented so you can support their ongoing recovery.

Urgent cases are typically seen within 2 weeks. We prioritise triage and aim to review all referrals within 48 hours to determine urgency and imaging requirements.

Consultation reports are sent within 24–48 hours of the appointment. Discharge summaries are provided within 24 hours of the patient's release, including medication, physio protocols, and follow-up plans.

Yes. We can advise on pre-operative physiotherapy optimisation where appropriate. Our team will coordinate with your patient's existing care plan to ensure they are well prepared for surgery.

Imaging reports are sent to the referring doctor. Mr. Gibbons will read and interpret scans that he requests and this will be in the correspondence.
